There’s a full week ahead for young adults across the Twin Cities! Meet new faces over cider at Ale Mary’s, hear Fr. Alexander Hall speak on linguistics used in the Church, gather with the Brotherhood of Hope for wine and cheese, or spend an evening playing volleyball in Chisago City. Later in the week, FOCUS alumni and other missionary-minded young adults will gather to reconnect and build community, Catholic Softball kicks off its fall season with Mass at the park, and the week wraps up with Ultimate Frisbee and sand volleyball in Eagan.

Come and meet new young adults from around the metro area. Come and go as you please as there is no speaker or agenda for the evening other than to enjoy meeting other young Catholics in the area.
Tuesday, August 11 - Cathedral Young Adult Speaker Series
7 - 9 p.m., Cathedral of St. Paul, St. Paul
Fr. Alexander Hall will share on the history and significance of the Logos and linguistics used by the Church, reflecting on the foundational teaching that all human beings are created in the divine likeness and possess inherent dignity, worth, and purpose.
Tuesday, August 11 -Wine and Cheese with the Brotherhood of Hope
7:30 P.M., Brotherhood of Hope Rectory, Minneapolis
All young adults ages 22–32 are invited to the first Young Professionals Wine and Cheese Gathering. This will be an evening of community and to hear the current vision for the U of M Newman Center and its ministries this fall. This is a casual event, but please RSVP to Br. Jude. Event location is at 1201 5th St SE Minneapolis, MN 55414, and you can park in the Newman Center parking lot behind St. Lawrence Church.

Join in for volleyball, hanging out at the beach, and other games. If it rains, the evening will move to the Multi-Purpose room (Door 4) at St. Peter in Forest Lake, MN.
Wednesday, August 12 - FOCUS Alumni Gathering
6 - 8 p.m., St. Vincent de Paul Rectory, Brooklyn Park
FOCUS alumni and anyone interested in growing in community and living a missionary oriented life are invited to reconnect with familiar faces and foster meaningful community among missionaries, former students, and fellow disciples of Christ who desire to live on mission in the Twin Cities.

Come celebrate a new season by joining for Mass before opening pitch of the new Fall season. Mass will be celebrated under the pavilion at Pioneer Park before the start the first game. All are invited!

Join in for Ultimate Frisbee and Sand Volleyball! Meet at the ballfields at the west end of the park, and afterward the group will head over to Lone Oak Bar and Grill for a time of fellowship.

Join in an evening of service assembling blessing bags which will be handed out to local community members in need. Signup to bring supplies or bring any of the following: toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, deodorant, granola bars, Kleenex, chapstick, bandaids, feminine products. Snacks & refreshments will be provided.

Come enjoy a fun summer run or walk, fellowship, and ice cream! Travel from the Cathedral to Grand Ole Creamery (on Grand Ave in St. Paul). The group will meet at the Cathedral parking lot at 7:00pm and depart by 7:10pm. The running route will be just over 2 miles, and the walking route will be just over 1 mile. After enjoying some ice cream together the group will walk back to the Cathedral. If you are not inclined to run or walk, feel free to drive and meet up with the group at Grand Ole Creamery around 7:35 p.m.

Come visit with the residents and participate in playing bingo at the Little Sister's of the Poor. Meet inside the front doors just before 6 p.m., as the residence will be ready to play promptly at 6 p.m. If you arrive late, the attendant at the front desk will direct you to our location.
Thursday, September 24 - Catholic Softball Group Mid-season BBQ
6:30 p.m., Pioneer Park, Little Canada
Join for a cookout of burgers and hot dogs to be enjoyed during the regularly scheduled softball games. All past/present/future players, friends, and family are all welcome to eat food and watch games! Free-will offering for non-players.
Saturday, August 29 - Grass Volleyball Tournament
9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Shakopee Area Catholic School, Shakopee
Register today for a day of volleyball to support Saints Joachim and Anne Catholic Church and school in Shakopee. Make a team of six players with a chance to win $360 for first place! Register by August 23rd, as spots are limited.
